It&#039;s just that today&#039;s web application overuse the async but I guess that sync has its advantages sometimes. I&#039;m not always serious when I write things like that, keep that in mind!

		<description>i guess cause you said that if you use XMLHttpRequest in a synchronous manner, you are not cool.  well I&#039;m using it synchronously and it annoys me everyday, but i didn&#039;t have a say in the decision.  The customer doesn&#039;t want the user to be able to interact with the browser while the XMLHttpRequest and callback are being executed.</description>
