Ajax and javascript don’t use threads | Javascript Kata: according to this i’m not cool, i want to be cool, but again a decision i didn’t have input on and don’t have enough time to put up a fight.

Andrew, why do you say that? You are cool! Every reader of javascript kata is cool… you didn’t know?

i guess cause you said that if you use XMLHttpRequest in a synchronous manner, you are not cool. well I’m using it synchronously and it annoys me everyday, but i didn’t have a say in the decision. The customer doesn’t want the user to be able to interact with the browser while the XMLHttpRequest and callback are being executed.

Yeah! I said “If you use it [synchronous], you are not cool!” but it was more a joke than anything else. It’s just that today’s web application overuse the async but I guess that sync has its advantages sometimes. I’m not always serious when I write things like that, keep that in mind!
Still, I’m glad to know you are a reader of javascript kata.
